As a companion for the Bill
O'Reilly/Jon Stewart debate on pay-per-view internet, Bluewater
Productions has released Political Power: O'Reilly Stewart 2012. I
really wanted to see the debate online. From what I understand,
there was such an unexpected overwhelming number of people trying to
view the program, that the servers went down. After all, who could
have anticipated that a debate between the two most popular news
hosts, in an election year, would be at all interesting? Apparently,
enough people were interested that technical issues aplenty plagued
the event. Some had trouble paying their $4.95, some couldn't pay at
all, and some paid but couldn't view the stream. As Jon Stewart
said, “It's why Al Gore invented the internet.” Too bad Mr. Gore
wasn't standing by to give tech support.

Writer Jerome Maida is both a fan of
FOX News and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and he displays an
extremely detailed knowledge of the lives of both men. This bio
comic is informative and comedic. Whether intentional or not, some
of the comedy comes from the amazingly accurate portrayal of serious
characters like Bill O'Reilly and U.S. Representative Barney Frank.
In the art department, Aleksandar Bozic
brings The O'Reilly Factor into full color comics with as much power
as seen on TV and artist Tsubasa Yozora does a great job capturing
Jon Stewart's life and comedy into glorious black & white.
The rock 'em sock 'em action between
O'Reilly and Stewart isn't the only time you'll see Bluewater Productions in the
political arena. They've been publishing their Political Power
series for about four years now and it may actually be the only real
fair and balanced look at the most influential political
figures in America.
Keep your eyes open for other in depth
biographical exclusives on Barak Obama, Mitt Romney, and more from
Bluewater Productions. Until then, you can find Political Power:
O'Reilly Stewart 2012 on iTunes, Barnes and Noble, Amazon, and
anywhere the best comics are sold.
