Lobo co-creator, Roger Slifer is in
critical condition after a hit and run that took place at the corners
of Fifth and Colorado Ave in Santa Monica on Friday night between
11pm and 1am. He's currently in the
Ronal Reagan UCLA Med Center and
is undergoing treatment for a brain injury and several broken bones.
Witnesses say that the vehicle was a white Sedan, but no other
details are yet known.
Along with Keith Giffen, Roger Slifer is
responsible for breathing life into the character Lobo, first
introduced in DC's
Omega-Men #3 (1983). Lobo's popularity plunged
him into several mini-series, a regular series, TV appearances, and
an upcoming live action movie directed by Brad Peyton
(Journey 2).

Of course we hope for the best for Mr.
Slifer and his loved ones. Friends of Roger Slifer are asking that
if anyone has any information that could help in this case, to please
email at
help4rogers@gmail.com
UPDATE: There has been no progress in catching the driver if the car that hit Mr Slifer, but there is a new Facebook page setup to help him. The link is SLIFER Needs You Facebook. Click it and "Like" it and share it all over the internet. Let's do what we can to help.
